Lady Macbeth
New Girl (2011)
New Girl is a show about a girl who finds out that her boyfriend is cheating on her, so she decides to move into a new apartment with 3 guys that she doesn’t know. Jess, the main character, is a strong willed woman, but sometimes feels broken. Lady Macbeth could relate to Jess’ feelings because she is usually a tough, independent woman, but later on begins to feel damaged (the guilt of all of the murders causing her to want to kill herself).
CSI (2000)
CSI is a crime investigation show where the CSI quad members
contribute their knowledge while analyzing small and precise materials involved in the crime. This show is perfect for Lady Macbeth because she could learn how to get away with
all of her crimes. She could do this by learning what the CSI members look for,
as well as different devious tricks and techniques from the criminals.
Gossip Girl (2007)
Gossip girl is a show about a group of "friends"
and all of their drama and manipulations. Lady Macbeth would enjoy this show
because of all the back stabbing and trickery that goes on since she is very manipulating of
Macbeth. She would relate to the character of Blair the most because she seems
to be the girl with the most power, but after a while her guilt begins to haunt
her - just like it did with Lady Macbeth.
Mulan (1998)
Mulan, a classic Disney movie, is about a brave girl named
Mulan. She was a tomboyish girl who disguises herself as a man so she can
fight with the Imperial Chinese Army. Lady Macbeth would thoroughly enjoy this
movie because she is very much like Mulan (brave, courageous, and tomboyish). She
would also like this movie because it shows that girls can do anything that guys
can do, it may just be in a different way.
